Ponteland Runners Committee & Welfare Officer

The club committee consists of Chair Abby Dorani, Secretary David Levison, Treasurer Paul Holborow, and Club Members Chris Kenyon, Elaine Stroud and Helen O’Neil.  Ponteland Runners also has a Welfare Officer (Heidi Finlay).  A brief description of the functions they perform for the club are shown below.

Chair – Laura Choake

Laura provides the oversight of the running of the club.  Laura chairs committee meetings and ensures that the club is ran for the benefit of the members.

Secretary – Paul Doney

Paul minutes the committee meetings, and handles agenda items requested by members. Paul also manages club membership via England Athletics Club portal with the assistance of the club membership secretary

Treasurer – Paul Holborow

Paul manages the club finances.  Collecting annual subs, paying the affiliation fees with England Athletics & Triathlon England and fundraising via National Governing bodies and other funding bodies to try and run the club as cost effectively as possible for the members. The club accounts are available for viewing for any club member at any time.

Run Coordinator – Chris Kenyon

Chris oversees running activities within the club and is the first point of contact for any running related matter for all members.

Social Coordinator – Helen O’Neil

Helen sits on the committee representing ordinary club members and also performs the role of Social Secretary.

Triathlon Coordinator – Elaine Stroud

Elaine oversees triathlon activities within the club and is the first point of contact for any triathlon related matter for all members.

Welfare Officer – Heidi Finlay

The welfare officer provides a point of contact within the club,  but is independent from the committee for Child Welfare.   If you have any concerns at all please contact welfare officer at Welfare@PontelandRunners.org.uk
