Since 2007 Ponteland Runners have been affiliated with England Athletics. Members of Ponteland Runners are registered with England Athletics and receive a membership card and number. Using this number they can enter events as an attached runner which normally provides a discount on the unattached fee. Registration also provides insurance benefits, see www.uka.org.uk/governance/insurance/ for details.
We will be hosting our annual open evening on Wednesday 17th April 2024 at 7pm at Ponteland Leisure Centre car park.
This will also be the start of our popular couch to 5km sessions, which will finish with our summer club handicap in June.
If you are interested in joining our club to meet new people and improve your fitness there is no better time!
We will have groups available for a wide variety of paces including a beginners session, so there is something for everyone.
