Well it was inevitable at some point in time that our good luck with the weather for Go Tri’s was going to change and it certainly did last night. The forecast was for heavy rain and 16mph northerly wind and 11C, not what you’d expect for mid summer, more like winter! With that forecast we had a lot of no shows which was no surprise however, we still had 26 participants and plenty of marshals to cheer and encourage people on.

The actual rain and wind never got quite as bad as the forecast but we had lots of brave souls, lots just competing in just thier trisuits. I’d definitely have put on a jacket or gilet for the bike! Brrrr!! They are more hard core than me!!

Well done to all those that took part, everyone had a lovely time with some PB’s too.Here are the results.

Remeber our last Go Tri of the year is in only two weeks time on the 12th July and we have quite a lot on entries already. If you want to take part you’d better get your entry in quickly. Hope to see you there.
