The sun shone for us for our first Go Tri of the year and we all had a fabulous time. There was a lovely mix of first time triathletes as well as the competitive triathletes and we had a couple of teams too.

Before we get to the results I have a word of CAUTION especially for our more competitive participants. We take great pride in putting on freindly and welcoming events however, the safety of our events is paramount, indeed if saftey is jeopardised we cannot put on these events. Therefore, although we say in the safety briefing that we don’t DQ anyone, in future events we will give time penalties or DQ anyone who does not abide by the ‘rules’ in our safety briefing and puts theirs or the marshals safety at risk. Enough said.

Results are here and it was another fiercy competitive ‘race’ for the top guys and girls with some fabulous results.

Well done everyone and a special thank you to all our cheery volunteer marshals and an extra special thank you to Brian Egdell for putting out and bringing in the signs and to John McGargill for organising the marshals, I couldn’t do it without you guys :-).
